Tweed Blazer For The Fall

Every Gentleman should own a tweed blazer. The rough woolen fabric is perfect for keeping you warm during the fall and winter months. But most of all it’s a stylish and a very flexible garment. In this outfit, I combined the Tweed blazer with corresponding gray pants and chose a white dress shirt to compliment the lighter threads of tweed in the blazer. The black accessories added great detail and were in tune with the different hues of grey making this a fashionable outfit on the day.

Are there any changes you would make in this outfit?

Simple But Effective

Simplicity can be key when assembling your wardrobe. I love colors that contrast greatly and look good together. Today, I paired a red polka dot button down shirt with navy blue chinos. I decided to put red shoe strings in my wingtip dress shoes to add a little more detail to the outfit. Honestly, the moss green hat color isolates it from the red and blue garments, however the details in the red feather on the side of the fedora causes you to be oblivious to the color of the hat because it compliments the shirt and the shoestring so well. Remember, minor details can make and outfit!

American Gangster

This outfit is my rendition of the movie American Gangster. Here is a couple of things I learned in addition to being a fashionable Gangster lol.

  1. “The most important thing in business is honesty, integrity, hard work and family. Never forget where you come from”
  2. “The loudest one in the room is the weakest one in the room”

Red Is Key

Having red in your wardrobe is key! It’s very captivating  and adds flare to any thread. Most importantly, I enjoy red because it is associated with so many great thing such as: strength, desire, determination and love. These characteristics describe me very well. Who would not want to be associated with a color so appealing?

What colors do you feel are a must have in your wardrobe?

Say It With Style

There is a quote that says “Style: Because your personality isn’t the first thing people see”

What do you want people to think when they view you?  I feel my style says that I am refined, modish and full of charisma. Basically, It’s a way to speak for myself without actually having to speak. I never want to give a false impression of myself in anyway. I want individuals to always know what type of person they’re dealing with. I am very neat and organized when it comes to all aspects of my life, and it shows through my style lol.

What does your style say about you?

The Science Of Elegance

There’s just something about the quality of being graceful and stylish in appearance. Everywhere I go, it’s a must for me to be fashionable. Being “saulcey” has really become an everyday lifestyle. When you step into the world you should wanna be the best form of yourself. It allows people to get to know you without actually getting to know you, and tells a lot about you as a person.

Are you Giving the world the best appearance of you?

Monochromatic Color Scheme

I’ve always wanted to try the monochromatic color scheme look. Monochrome is the use  varying tones of only one color. For my first attempt, I chose varying tones of the color gray and completed the look with black accessories.

Was my first monochrome out fit a success? Let me know below.

Camo Fashion

When I bought my first pair of camo pants I was very excited. I couldn’t wait to incorporate the pants into my wardrobe.

Ironically, as soon as I got home and begin to piece together some outfits I went bananas. Ahhhhh!

I could not find anything that meshed well with these camo pants. So, I calmed myself down and begin to think. Here’s my thoughts…

Tip: Wear camo pants with solid color threads. The look is very distinctive as is and any other pattern can subdue the camo pattern. Remember, you want to compliment the pattern.

Think Fashion Forward

When I think of individuals who play it safe and stick to fashion trends that are trendy, I cannot help but think of that student sitting in class listening to his monotone apathetic teacher and yelling out “BOOORINNGGG”!

I love to challenge myself to be a fashion forward thinker. When I am assembling an outfit, I always think to myself how can I take this outfit to next level and exude a futuristic fashionable look.

Trends are not completely a bad thing, but how can we take fashion further if we just jump on the bandwagon trend with everybody else in the fashion world. I personally use trends to my advantage. In my photos below, I went with the current long-line layered look. I took it a step further paring the look with skinny jeans and loafers, which I have personally never seen before.

Is this a fashion forward Thread?

Enjoy Your Day!
