We have all heard the phrase “Real men wear pink”. Honestly, the color doesn’t make you anymore of a man or any less of a man. Most men are intimidated by the color pink. They believe it feminizes there masculinity, while it shows attributes others may find enticing. Pink exudes confidence, charisma and style. I challenge you to add a splash of pink to your wardrobe in a few easy steps.

The Right Pink For Your Skin Tone
An essential key to pulling of pink is making sure the shade of pink compliments your skin tone. A lighter hue compliments darker skin tones and a darker hue compliments lighter shades of skin.
Add touches of pink
If your trying to get your pink feet wet, I would suggest adding a touch of pink to your garments until your ready to jump in the deep end. Try adding a splash of pink using items such as: Ties, Handkerchief, Pin lapels or Pink Socks.
Use Complimentary Colors
There are many colors that compliment pink well. In order to prevent yourself from looking like a bottle of Pepto-Bismol lol I would suggest you use your complimentary colors in a way to quieten the loudness that the pink may give off. Here are some complimentary tones that work well with pink: Navy Blue, Grey, Black, White, and green.
Another way to tone the pink down in your outfit is to pair the pink with dark shoes, belts, hats and wrist watches. Taking this action takes some attention away from the pink in your ensemble.
Confidence is Key
The confidence is like the period at the end of a sentence. It gives off an aroma everyone can smell and adds to the statement your guaranteed to make when wearing pink.
I am civilized, educated, well groomed and a well mannered man. I believe every man should have a “Gentlemen” side. It fosters respect from others and lets your woman know you have a sensitive side. More from this photoshoot soon.
Have you had your street fashion today?
It’s a must that my street fashion is a mix between dapper and urban. I struggle walking that fine line between the two. However! The fine line I walk makes for a perfect mix.
Tip: Find a few colors you think look well together and contrast them appropriately in balanced proportions and you will have a masterpiece.
How do you like my outfit?
This fashionable thread was my rendition of the 50’s. Take it back, relax and let the contrasting tones do the talking!
Have a Great Day!
Get you a Muscle Shirt!
Today I was attending a hip hop concert and I wanted to go for a look that was a perfect mix between street and classy. The color I had in mind was all black so I decided to wear a black fedora along with a black muscle shirt gracefully paired with skinny jeans and all black chelsea boots. The black muscle shirt gave the attire the street feel I was looking for and the chelsea boots and black fedora gave it the class it needed. The all black wrist accessories added a little flare making this a fashionable outfit on the night.
What do you think about the sauce of the day?
Today was my students 8th Grade graduation Ceremony. I wanted to put together a rather stylish thread. The color combinations I had in mind were Brown, Royal Blue and Gold. When you’re combining patterns you want the patterns to compliment each other and never collide. In this ensemble, the Paisley Printed tie and the checkered blazer assisted each other well. The colors of the accessories coordinated perfectly with the jacket and pants meshing together perfectly. The suspenders add flash to the look showing taste for fashion, and I topped it off with a suede wingtip
Yesterday I went to an amazing Poetry Slam! There are many ways to wear a longline tee, however, I wanted to add a fashionable twist! So I decided to spice things up with Blue Skinny jeans a brown fedora, and brown chelsea boots along with a cherry red floral pin lapel. Longline tees with dropped hems paired with chelsea boots has modish written all over it! They make for a great balance in this ensemble. The red pin lapel adds the finishing touches to this smooth apparatus. Pin lapels should stand out with any ensemble, but not in a negative way.
I’m always in a mood for a look that is eye catching. I am an educator and I love to spice my classroom up with style. So for work I decided to combine a navy blue distressed jean jacket with a black and white striped T-shirt, and topped the look off with black accessories. Being that we are in the end of spring and the weather tends to top off at about 80 degrees a jean jacket is appropriate being that it is very light and not too stuffy. Big stripes can spice up any ensemble if supplemented appropriately and the shirt makes for a stunning coordination. The Fedora and Pin Lapel add the finishing touches to the threads and truly make this an overall fashionable array.
